Room details, tariff and accessibility
We have two rooms, one double and one twin/double, each en-suite with a shower. The rooms are a generous size and both on the ground floor. Each room has tea and coffee (with fresh milk), TV and Radio (Freeview / Freesat), hair dryer, torch.
The double room faces south-east with a view up to Garwnda, and gets morning sun. The twin/double faces south-west, with a view over the fields of Strumble Head, and sun in the evening.
There's also a comfortable guest lounge with a smart TV, DVD and Hi-Fi, as well as a wood-burning stove to keep you warm.
There's free WiFi throughout the house - we're now on fibre broadband, so the internet's fairly fast.
Although we don't have any mobile phone reception in the house, you can get a signal on most networks close by, and there's a landline available if you need it.
Tariff
The price is £75 per room per night for two people, including breakfast. For single occupancy, we offer a discount of £5 per night.
During June, July and August and on bank holiday weekends in May, we ask for a stay of at least two nights.
We also give a discount for stays of 5 nights or longer - please contact us.
We can accept payment by credit/debit card, cash, cheque or bank transfer. We don't usually require a deposit.
Accessibility
The rooms are generally suitable for those with impaired mobility, vision or hearing - we are close to meeting the One Step Ahead standard. For a full access statement (PDF), please click here.
Sustainability
Water is heated by a combination of solar panels, electricity and oil. The solar panels and thermal store were supplied and installed by local firm Little Green Planet (as was the multi-fuel stove).
